PL Insurance: The League is presently checking every club to make sure they have up to date cover.
A fresh copy of their Public Liability cover must be withy the League Secretary no later than 9pm, Thursday next, 04 March. Clubs with cover will have their matches cancelled on weekly basis, points awarded or walk overs given if Cup, until proof of cover is supplied. St. Patrick's Day: A full League program of fixtures, cups and league, shall take place on St. Patrick's Day. Free Days: Free Saturday/Sunday. Under 10 Day Rule, request for a Free Saturday/Sunday must be made 10 clear working days before the date of the fixture. Again under the new Rule Definitions adopted at the A.G.M. and F.A.I. Rules 'days' do not include Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Therefore to comply with the Rule written requests only must be made two weeks in advance of the required day. Player Registration: Registration Forms must be with the League a clear two days before league games and a clear fourteen days before any cup fixture whether Domestic or National. For normal weekend league games Registrations must be delivered by Wednesday nights and must include the Player registration Fee of -5 per player. Under the new Rule Definitions adopted at the A.G.M. and F.A.I. Rules, 'days' do not include Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Discipline: The Disciplinary Committee will meet on Monday nights in the Seven Oaks Hotel at 8.30 p.m. Players sent off on the week-end prior to the immediate weekend before the meeting will be dealt with and must attend or be represented, clubs and players will not be notified. Suspensions: Players red carded must serve an automatic suspension with the same team in the next competitive game except for F.A.I., L.F.A. Cups/Shields and Oscar Traynor Trophy. If in doubt please contact League Secretary.
