Slaney Rovers see off Tullow Town

SLANEY advanced to meet Castle Rangers in the quarterfinals next Sunday.
It was the visitors who took the lead with a Graham Doyle goal to lead into the interval.
In the second half, Roverswere soon back on level terms with a Paddy Farrell goal. Slaney went on to take the lead on 64 minutes, Simon Murphy netting.
Ed Finnegan then put Rovers in a comfortable position on 73 minutes, 3-1 up.
A goal from Martin Doran put them back into the game on 80 minutes before Dominic Byrne made certain of victory with a goal on 88 minutes.
