Magnificent Mullins through to final

MARTIN MULLINS from the Tinryland club made the long journey to St Coman's Roscommon on Saturday last to play in the U15s semi final against the home player Conor Egan. The Carlow man was in top form and set out his stall early in the first game when he served with accuracy and killed any ball that presented it self to him and went on to win 15-4. In the second game Mullins was fully in control of the match and the result was never in doubt as he went on to record a fine victory 15-6 and qualify for the All Ireland final against Roy Harkin of Cork in two weeks time.
Meanwhile in the EMAD semi final the Ryan brothers qualified for an All Ireland final when they had a bloodless victory against Mayo opposition when one of the Mayo players sustained an injury on the morning of the match.They will now go on to play Tipperary in the final.
In the girls U14D Michelle Nolan and Shannon Byrne have qualified for the All Ireland final two weeks time against Tyrone opposition at a Leinster
