He's called the Usain Bolt of Horse Racing and when Hurricane Fly won the Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday, by over six lengths, the nickname is only fitting.
His jockey Ruby Walsh said afterwards that he hadn't been travelling well at the start of the race but that he "came alive" with three fences left to jump.
Priced at 4/5 Hurricane Fly was still a favourite for the race despite nearly ten months of absence through injury.
He's a phenomenal horse.
The big question now surrounds Cheltenham and with bookmakers slashing odds on him to win his trainer Willie Mullins reckons he won't see much action between now and then.
"Ruby said he wasn't travelling well at the start, I was anxious about the ground but he completely surprised me, maybe he's just maturing, we'll have to keep a lid on him.
