The Spring Lamb 9 hole competition is continuing with lots of ladies availing of the unseasonably good weather in January.

The Winter league finishes at the end of January and names have been taken for the Spring league which starts immediately. The entry fee is €6 and all who enter are encouraged to play their matches in time. See the draw in the locker room.

The date for the drive in is fixed for Feb 26. Good luck to Captain Noel Brennan and Lady Capt Helen Dunne as they prepare for the golfing year.

Any new member who joins Castlecomer Golf Club in 2012 may join for three years for the price of two years. €1,484 men and ladies €1,496. Payable in three yearly instalments. Distance membership permanent residence now reduced from 70km to 50km is 325euro.
