Pics 1 & 2 : Scenes from the Royal Oak in 1960 where Carlow were greeted by a joyous homecoming following their massive All-Ireland 'Home' Junior final over Cork in Nowlan Park, Kilkenny. Prominent in pic 1 is Jackie Mulhall, a well known Tullow gael, while in pic 2 Ned Doogue, the great Carlow footballer is prominent.
Pic 3: Carlow players and officials pose for a photograph ahead of the drawn 1960 All-Ireland Junior Hurling Championship final in New Eltham, London while in the background the loyal supporters who made the trip cross channel await the throw-in. Alas, London won the replay in Croke Park
