Deserved victory for Clonmore over Rathvilly
CLONMORE continued their successful IFC run when scoring again in Dr. Cullen Park on Sunday morning where the teams were level 1-4 each at the interval.
Shane Kehoe opened the scoring for Rathvilly who led 4-2 after 20 minutes and when Paul Kelly scored a goal after good work by Eric Molloy Rathvilly looked good for the points, although they could have been further ahead but for poor finishing; Clonmore recovering with an Eoin Coleman penalty late in the first half.
The winners looked to Paul Byrne Bobby Rooney Eoin Coleman and Niall Humphries to float their challenge while Rathvilly relied upon Dean Kelly Shane Dempsey Andrew Sibbald Stephen Murphy and Erin Molloy.
