Cork pressure telling in the end, concedes coach Orla

"They opened up our backs in the second half," conceded Borris Vocational School coach Orla Bambury after Saturday's all-Ireland camogie B final in Cahir.
She admired the way the team played in the first half. "They were hurling well against the wind, but we struggled to get the ball to our forwards in the second half, but fair play to them they did a great job."
While entertaining early hopes of victory she conceded that the game changed completely after the break. "The way it changed for us in Derry (the semi-final) it changed for Cork today."
She commended the Borris effort but acknowledged that the way the Cork forwards ran at the Borris backs stacked pressure on the Co. Carlow defence, "and they popped their scores over a bit easier."
The reaction of Borris captain Ann Murphy was "heart-broken - it's not every day players get to an all-Ireland, but then you win some and you lose some," she added philosophically, "but no doubt it our girls will be back."
The Rangers player felt they were looking good when leading by two points at half time.
"Every time our full-forward line got the ball they put it away, but what can you say about the second half, it was a different and they got on top of us and our heads seemingly went down. If we could have got the ball the ball to our full;-forwards I think we could have done it."
