' IT WAS a great achievement in a very difficult financial year,' was how Carlow GAA treasurer Michael Meaney termed the ¤66,190 surplus for the combined county board and Dr. Cullen Park Committee accounts at Saturday's county convention in Bagenalstown, and especially at a deficit of €14,529 the previous year.
