Woman on number of charges
A CARLOW woman was among three people brought before Gorey District Court last Sunday evening on a number of offences including stealing a car and dangerous driving.
Garda Alan Collins brought a charge of theft against Mary Connors of 3 Daletree Place, Ballycullen, Dublin 24. She was charged with theft at Tesco, Gorey, on August 28 last.
Garda Trevor McCormack brought charges against the same woman, but this time, her address was given as 108 Riverview Close, Carlow. The charges included: refusing to give a blood or urine specimen at Gorey Garda Station on August 28; the unauthorised taking of a vehicle, and driving without insurance or a licence at Ashwood, Gorey, on the same date; as well as dangerous driving at Ballyellen.
Garda Cathal Burke charged her with dangerous driving, criminal damage, and driving without insurance or a licence at Tombrick, Ballycarney, Enniscorthy.
She was remanded in custody with consent to bail, to appear before Gorey District Court.
