Sympathy
The news that well known Carlovian Maureen Slater-O'Neill, wife of the late Eddie 'Brad' O'Neill - to the sorrow of her family - had departed this World from her home in Bray, Co Wicklow, on October 2 was received with deep regret by her many friends and old neighbours .
Daughter of the late Paddy and Lizzy Slater, Granby Row, Maureen was a caring lady who devoted many years caring for others. A regular visitor to Carlow, Maureen will be sadly missed by her siblings and their family as well as by those who loved to see her smiling face as she walked through the streets of her childhood. Sincere sympathy is extended with the prayer that The Lord may comfort Maureen's son Val, daughter Edwina and their family, her sisters, brothers and extended family. Maureen's many friends will not forget Maureen who is now resting in peace alongside her loved ones in St. Mary's Cemetery, Carlow.
May The Good Lord grant Maureen the reward she so richly deserves. Amen.
Mary Hyland, RIP
May The Lord grant comfort to those who will sadly miss the late Mary Hyland from their lives. Well remembered as a lovely friendly, chatty girl helping her parents with the family business, deep regret was felt at the news of Mary's sudden passing from this World. Only daughter of the late Sadie and Tom Hyland, 'The Leix Dairy' Castle Street, and Killeshin Road, Carlow, Mary will be dearly missed by her guardian Mary and special friends Juliette and Bridie, cousins, relatives and many friends. May Mary now united with her beloved parents enjoy The Kingdom of The Lord. Amen.
