A BENCH warrant was issued at last week's sitting of Carlow District Court for Val Purcell (36), 18 Church Avenue, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny.
The warrant was issued when Purcell failed to appear to answer a charge of theft from Superquin on September 25, 2010 and with driving without insurance and a driving licence, unauthorised taking of a vehicle, driving while disqualified and the unlawful possession of drugs at Pollerton Road on October 16, 2010.
