CARLOW'S Historical and Archaeologicical Society will launch this year's edition of Carloviana on Wednesday, November 11 in the Seven Oaks at 8 p.m.
Joe O'Brien, RTE's agricultural correspondent and himself a native of Carlow, will launch the eagerly anticipated tome in the Seven Oaks.
November will prove to be a busy month for the society as their website has gone live.
Meanwhile, the second in a series of six lectures planned by the Carlow Historical and Archaeological Society will be held on Wednesday, November 18 p.m. in the Seven Oaks Hotel when Fr. Moling Lennon will talk about his father and his memories of the Dail.
