GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING to the public for help in the search for a missing Carlow woman who hasn't been seen by family or friends in a week. 42-year-old Mary Ryder was last seen in Carlow town at 2.30 p. m last Tuesday, March 2. Gardaí this week said they are growing increasingly concerned about her well-being.
'We are seriously concered for her welfare,' a spokesman at Carlow Garda Station said yesterday (Monday). 'We are asking anyone who may have seen her to get in touch. We are also asking that she might call us herself if she is out there somewhere and hears about this search.' 'We are very worried for her safety, so if anybody knows anything, then please contact us,' he added.
Mary had addresses at Burrin Manor on the Tullow Road, and at Jerusalem on the Athy Road.
She is described as being five feet tall, and of stocky build. She has black hair, and when last seen was wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans, and a green hoodie with 'War not Peace' written across the front.
