SOLEMN NOVENA

The Graiguecullen/Killeshin Parish fifth Solemn Novena to our Lady of Perpetual Help begins on Monday April 12 and will run for nine consecutive Monday nights. They invite people during Lent to place their petitions in the boxes provided in St Clare's and Holy Cross. These petitions will be placed at the front of the cross in the sacred place during lent and will be offered up in prayer during the Solemn Novena. As with others years, each night of the Novena a special guest speaker will speak about their work and how their faith guides them.

This years speakers are: April 12 – Brian Crowley, Member of European Parliament; April 19 – Johnny Murtagh, International Jockey; April 26 – Fr Kevin Hegarty, formally Editor of Intercom and C.C. in Carna Co. Mayo; May 3 – David Begg, General Secretary of Irish Congress of Trade Unions; May 10 – Brian Cody, Kilkenny Hurling Manager; May 17 – Alice Taylor, Author of 'To School Through the Fields' and other Bestsellers; May 24 – Bill O'Herlihy, RTE Sports Presenter; May 31 – Mary Davis, Managing Director Special Olympics Europe and Eurasia; June 7 – Mary Fitzpatrick, Personal Testimony and founder of 'Lost Futures Limerick'.
