Colaiste Eoin was the winner of last year's mental health public speaking competition. The award for their efforts was a trip to Belgium on February 4 last. Sadhbh Byrne, Martin Byrne, Anna Byrne, Sinead Byrne travelled to Brussels with teacher Liz Farrell, and a representative from Mental Health Ireland. The trip was thoroughly enjoyable, as the past students were invited to visit the European Parliament and spoke to representative of mental health Europe. It was a fabulous experience, and thanks is convayed to everyone involved.
