MARTIN HARTLEY was brought to a standstill during a pub crawl for his 21st birthday as family and friends organised a surprise party in his honour.
Martin, who is originally from Graiguenamanagh but is now living in Carlow town, had set out on a pub crawl when he arrived in O Loughlin's bar.
'He hadn't a clue, we had such a giggle,' said his sister Mary-Teresa. 'We had a great night and the party didn't finish up until 7 a. m.'
He was joined on the night by family and friends which included his parents Joan and Martin, sisters Michelle and Mary Teresa and brother Bobby and their partners.
'People travelled from far and wide,' she added. 'It was a great surprise.'
