LIAM KELLY danced the night away when he celebrated his 90th birthday in Ballinabranna Clubhouse on Saturday night.
Party goers were the only ones surprised on the night when the birthday boy didn't move from the dance floor all night.
'It didn't take a feather out of him,' said his daughter Maria. 'He was in great form and shocked the rest of us. When people came in they couldn't find him because he didn't leave the dance floor.'
Helping Liam to celebrate the big 9-0 was his daughter Maria and her husband Jimmy and family Philip, Clare and Darragh and his niece Maureen Murphy who travelled from Louth for the party with her son Joseph and his wife Brona.
He was joined also by the Amond family (his nieces and nephews) and all of his neighbours.
Liam is originally from Bagenalstown but is also very proud of his North Tipperary roots where his parents hail from.
Music on the night was by the Ryans from Garyhill and the family thanked Pat carter from Ballinabranna Clubhouse for putting on a great spread.
