COMMUNITY GAMES
St Lazerian's Community Games enjoyed great success in this years community games final in Athlone. Celebrations took place in Old Leighlin Hall on Tuesday night last where a large crowd gathered to congratulate all those who performed so brilliantly throughout the year. Everyone who went to Athlone performed to their very best and represented the area and the County
We've had a terrific year with silver medal success at the Nationals for Eilis O'Neill U8 gymnastics. Shannon Foley U12 Cycling and silver also for the boys U13 Basketball team. The basketball team would like to thank all those in the community who kindly sponsored their kids for the finals.
It was greatly appreciated and also their coaches Pakie Nolan & Michael Roche & especially to Killian Amond for all his help.
