The Fighting Cocks GFC's Annual Race Night which is being organised in conjunction with Rathoe NS is on Friday, March 19 in Leinster Hills Golf Club at 8.30pm. First race is due off at 8.45 p.m. so all punters are asked to be there to study the form and see their horses being paraded before the festivities commence. Horses are still available from all committee members and players and also from Rathoe NS committee members. Finger food will be provided on the night.
The Club is currently setting up a website and are looking for photos of past teams, committee members etc. or indeed anything to do with the club. Photos will be returned immediately after they are scanned and anyone who can provide any should contact Club Chairman Kieran Kelly on 0863849657. The Club's weekly lotto tickets are available from all committee members and at Connors' shop in Rathoe.
All players are reminded that training is on at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays in the GAA field and once a week in the gym. Anyone with queries about anything mentioned above should contact Niall Byrne, PRO, on 086-3191663.
