TWENTY-FIRST birthday celebrations got in to full swing in Scragg's pub recently when Joseph Hennessy of New Oak Estate marked the occasion.

The party continued until 7 a. m. back at his house where he was joined by friends from Carlow IT where he is a third year engineering student.

' It was an absolutely fantastic night,' said his mother Martina.

Helping him to celebrate his birthday also was his father Joe, sister Laura, Godparents Mary Broderick and Bernard Hennessy and girlfriend Niamh Regan and her family.

There was a very special thank you for Mary who catered all the wonderful food at the party.

Relations made the journey from Cork to Carlow for the birthday party and his Nanny Winnie Lyons from New Oak Estate ensured she didn't miss out on the celebration.

' It was a brilliant night and the crowd of lads who came back to the house were a great bunch and had a great time,' added Martina.
