Bridie's huge birthday surprise

BRIDIE DOYLE of King's Cross, Tullow had a shock when her family and friends gathered to surprise her for her 70th birthday.
Everyone met secretly in Cullen's, The Hill, Hacketstown for the surprise party including her four daughters Bridget, Mary, Christina and Lizzie and her son Joe and their families.
Bridget returned home from England with her two sons Mikey and Ryan for the party.
'She got a complete shock,' said her daughter-in-law Mary. 'She turned around and walked back out so we had to go out after her.'
Bridie thought she was out for a quiet drink with her brothers and sisters but her family and neighbours had a different plan in store.
'It was a great night, we all really enjoyed it.'
