Birthday girl Phil enjoys a special day

PHIL BYRNE of St Killian's Crescent marked her 75th birthday with friends in Askea Day Care Centre on Thursday.
She is a regular at the centre and meets here with her friends every Thursday for a chat and a cuppa.
To mark the occasion she was presented with a large birthday cake.
'There was so much I had to bring plenty of cake home with me,' she laughed.
'I had such a good day, I was delighted.'
The ladies at the centre started the day with some aerobics before finishing up with cake and tea.
Not one to miss out on a chance to fundraise Phil took the opportunity to collect funds for a monster bingo at Easter.
