AN ASPIRING hairdresser won a year long trainee apprenticeship after she styled a new hair do for Ria Brennan, from Corries, Bagenalstown.
Claire Caulifield from New Ross, County Wexford, won the apprenticeship with the Hype chain of salons after she entered a promotions competition run by Beat 102/103 FM.
Hundreds of aspiring hairdressers entered the competition but in the end, Claire's hair style for Ria, was deemed to be the best by a panel of judges.
Twenty nine year old Ria is no stranger to competitions involving beauty as three years ago, she was a contestant in the Rose of Tralee.
