Top class entertainment that won't cost a cent!

Aslan are the headliners on the main stage on Sunday night.
THE Baltinglass Street Festival 2010 is a four day event running from the 26th to the 29th of August.
The primary aim of the festival is to raise much needed funds for the local KARE facility the Lalor Centre. The Lalor Centre caters for and provides excellent services for people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities and wristbands are being sold all around the locality for €2 each in aid of the cause. Baltinglass like everywhere has been hit hard by the current economic downturn and so the festival also aims to raise community spirit, promote local businesses and create fun for all ages.
There is family fun planned for both the Saturday and Sunday with the Kelloggs Rice Krispies tent coming to Baltinglass on Sunday with a Magician, Snap Crackle and Pop, a face painter, Arts and Crafts, Clay modelling, Penalty shoot out, and loads of prizes to give away.
Along with up and coming local music and dance acts, bands headlining the event include; Thursday night; Crystal Swing, Friday night; The American Drifters; Saturday night; The Coronas and Sunday night; Aslan. Usually to go see these headliners it would cost you between €25 and €45 but astoundingly to come see all acts at the Baltinglass Street Festival is completely free of charge.
