Star Saoirse taking a break

ARDATTIN movie star Saoirse Ronan is taking a well deserved break from her hectic filming schedule and has been relaxing at home with her mum, Monica and dad, Paul.
Last week, the 14 year old was once again surrounded by the papparazzi when she was a guest on honour at the launch of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
In the coming weeks, however, things will settle down for Saoirse as she catches up with friends and attends school in Bunclody.
At the beginning of March,
though, she'll jet off again, to meet filming commitments in Bulgaria. Called The Way Back, the movie will feature Irish heart-throb, Colin Farrell and American film icon, Ed Harris.
She's to play a young Polish girl during the Second World War who comes across escapees from a Soviet prisioners' camp. The trio then embark on a journey that's full of adventures.
Saoirse told the national press recently that she's really looking forward to working with Colin, especially since he bagged a Golden Globe award for his role in Martin McDonagh's film, In Bruges.
